The VN Series HSV Clubsport was released in June 1990 and was based on the VN Commodore. Being the first edition of Clubsport offered by HSV, a namebadge that would go on to become the biggest selling model for HSV.
It was offered as a four-door sedan with a 180 kW (245 PS; 241 hp) 5.0-litre Holden V8 engine.
